Bold and brazen, Paulo regularly hits on girls and is often competitive with his friends. Always interested in impressing others, this womanising Somali genuinely concerns for his friends and is a good person to confide in.

He used to be in a relationship with Tess, but issues with the age difference, mainly revolving around the fact that Tess would soon leave school, meant that the two had to break up. He held a major crush for Lucy, and would frequently and unsuccessfully try and hit on her. He is very protective of Daisy, and sees her as a sister figure. He was dating Jasmine, but they recently had a mutual break up.

He is known to Insult his friends, although he does care very much for them. This is shown predominantly with Mike, and somewhat with Abbey

Later on, during the play with Sue, he and Lucy are shown to have made out in the dressing room before the show. When Lucy disappears he is very distressed, almost hysterical, and runs away crying directly afterwards.

He has become very close to Rachel.. using her as a person to confess all of his feelings to.
